Deep Creek View Campground

About this campground
Perched high on a bluff overlooking Cook Inlet, Deep Creek View Campground serves up the kind of Alaska scenery that makes you stop what you’re doing and simply stare. Across the water, the snow-covered peaks of Mount Redoubt and Mount Iliamna dominate the horizon, while long summer evenings bring some truly unforgettable sunsets.
This family-owned campground has been welcoming Alaska travelers since 1995 and offers a relaxed, friendly home base for exploring the Ninilchik area and the southern Kenai Peninsula. Guests can choose from RV sites with electrical hookups, grassy tent-camping areas and comfortable cabin rentals. Pets are welcome but must remain leashed.
Located between the Ninilchik and Deep Creek rivers, the campground puts visitors close to excellent salmon fishing, Cook Inlet halibut adventures and the beaches and wildlife of Deep Creek State Recreation Area. Bald eagles are commonly seen in the area, and travelers may also spot shorebirds, seals, sea otters and even whales offshore.
Deep Creek View Campground is also connected with J&J Smart Charters, making it especially convenient for anglers looking to combine their campground stay with a true Alaska fishing adventure.
Come for the fishing, stay for the friendly people—and don’t be surprised when that Cook Inlet view keeps you outside long after the day’s adventures are over.
